The Emma Bowen Foundation Highlights EBF x WBD Fellowship Program
The Emma Bowen Foundation recently announced an exciting new collaboration with partner Warner Bros. Discovery, marking the launch of the EBF x WBD Adria Alpert Romm Excellence in HR Fellowship for EBF students.
Alpert Romm, a prominent figure in the media industry, serves as the Chief People & Culture Officer for WBD. Before her tenure at WBD, she accumulated over 25 years of experience with NBCUniversal.
The Adria Alpert Romm Excellence in HR Fellow will spend three summers with WBD, rotating through various human resources departments including Talent Acquisition, Data & Analytics, Employer Branding, and more. Upon completion of the fellowship, the selected student will acquire valuable skills and tools necessary to pursue a career in HR within the media sector. As an added bonus, the student will receive direct mentorship from Adria directly!

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) recently announced the winners of the 49th Annual Gracie Awards. Winners will be honored at the Gracie Awards Gala on May 21 at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in LA. The local and student award-winners will be recognized at the Gracie Awards Luncheon on June 18 at Cipriani in NYC.
This year’s content themes are centered on “Feminine Strength, both Large and Small,” highlighting impactful actions resonating on various scales.
