Applications are now open for the following NAMIC awards:
• Vision Awards – Original programming content that best reflects the increasingly diverse, multi-ethnic, and multicultural viewing audience. Deadline: January 31, 2023.
• Next Generation Leaders & Luminaries – Emerging business leaders of diverse ethnicity or race who are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Deadline: June 16, 2023.
• Diversity in Technology Award – Leader of diverse ethnicity or race who has contributed to the advancement of digital innovation, customer experience, connectedness, digital infrastructure, operations, or intelligence. Deadline: June 16, 2023.
• Mickey Leland Humanitarian Award – Individuals and companies who demonstrate philanthropic achievements and commitment to advancing people of color. Deadline: June 16, 2023.
• Chapter Change Agent Award – Chapter leaders who go above and beyond their role to cultivate leaders, foster connections, and amplify our voices as members of this multicultural organization
The WICT Network Announces 2023 Global Board of Directors
The WICT Network recently announced the members of its 2023 Global Board of Directors. Communications consultant Leigh Woisard stepped into her role as Chair. Having completed her term as Board Chair in 2022, technology executive Sandra Howe will serve as the Immediate Past Chair.
New At-Large Members of the Board of Directors were also announced. The WICT Network Global Board is a subset of its 10,500 members. Each board leader brings deep industry experience and astute business perspectives to ensure The WICT Network remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving media landscape. The Emma Bowen Foundation Fundraising Deadline Extended

Diversity-TECH — An Exciting Program from the T. Howard Foundation
The Foundation has partnered with FOX to offer technology internships in media and related industries to diverse and underrepresented college students and young professionals. With this initiative, the Foundation intends to increase the number of diverse students with STEM-related backgrounds who are hired in media and media-related industries. Diversity-TECH offices are on the Fox studio lot in Los Angeles. Applications for the program will begin in September 2023. Learn more.
