WICT becomes The WICT Network – Empowering Women in Media Entertainment and Technology

Adopting a new identity that speaks to the wide range of services it offers to those in the media, entertainment and technology fields, Women in Cable and Telecommunication is now The WICT Network.  It’s tagline  – Empowering Women in Media, Entertainment and Technology reflects the full breadth of who the organization is and where it is headed.   WICT undertook a rigorous evaluation process to arrive at the new brand using focus groups, data mining, personal interviews and census research. The new branding officially unveiled on October 20.  WICT leadership was particularly driven by how much ground women lost in the workplace during the COVID-19 pandemic. The rebranding includes  a new look and feel for both the national organization and The WICT Network’s chapters. Congrats to The WICT Network.
