The WICT Network Announces 2022 Rising Leaders

The WICT Network recently announced the 180 designees of its 2022 Rising Leaders Program. The top candidates were chosen based on a highly competitive selection process that involves more than 100 media professionals, themselves alumnae of the program. The WICT Network’s Rising Leaders Program (RLP) is designed for industry professional women at the manager and director level who have demonstrated their potential and their desire for leadership and career advancement. Gracies Awards Gala to be Held May 24th 

Honorees in the National TV, National Radio, Non-Commercial Syndicated Radio and National Interactive Media are recognized at the Gracies Gala. The Gracie Awards Gala honors outstanding individual achievement and programming by, for and about women at the national level. Brandon Tartikoff18th Annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards

The Awards Gala will make its Los Angeles debut at the Beverly Wilshire on June 2, as part of the NATPE Returns series of events to take place in New York, Los Angeles and Budapest in 2022.

The recipients of NATPE’s 18th Annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards are Warner Bros. Television Group Chairman Channing Dungey, Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award-winner Whoopi Goldberg, film and television writer, producer, and director Alex Kurtzman, actress, comedian, writer, producer, and director Amy Poehler, storied talk show personality Maury Povich, programmer, producer and media investor Jeff Sagansky, and Actor, Director, Producer, Writer, Recording Artist, and Horseman William Shatner. The prestigious awards celebration will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Beverly Wilshire. The 2022 Tartikoff Legacy Award recipients are recognized for exhibiting their extraordinary passion, leadership, independence and vision through their diverse work in being a part of the creation and distribution of content for the world’s traditional and digital marketplaces. Named in honor of Brandon Tartikoff, one of the most esteemed programmers in the history of television, the Award was created to acknowledge a select group of television professionals who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence in their field. The UCLA Summer Institute is open to all UCLA and non-UCLA college students. The courses provide business frameworks as well as opportunities to meet industry executives, visit entertainment organizations, and work on meaningful projects with classmates.

EBF HomecomingFirst-ever Emma Bowen Foundation Hybrid Summer Conference

Once again, the Emma Bowen Foundation will be hosting the annual summer conference – Homecoming: Welcome Back to the Future – but this year it will be the first-ever hybrid conference.  The event will be virtual on June 16th and in-person on June 23rd and June 24th at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center in Tarrytown, New York.

Each year, nearly 200 fellows gather at the EBF Annual Summer Conference to network, learn, and take their first steps toward a career in the media and technology industries.
