Our friend and colleague, Pamela M. “Pam” Ford passed away on November 27, 2018. Pam was well-known throughout the industry, having worked at NCTA for more than 18 years, volunteering at many Walter Kaitz Foundation events and contributing immensely to the NAMIC Mid-Atlantic Chapter in leadership roles for over a decade.
As a tribute to Pam’s memory, colleagues from across the media and telecommunications community have expressed a keen interest in establishing and contributing to the Pamela Ford Memorial Fund which honors Pam’s legacy. The funds will be directed towards several NAMIC programs including: (1) The L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program; (2) NAMIC’s Executive Leadership Development Program; (3) Chapter Relations; and (4) NAMIC’s General Fund. Donations made in Pam’s name will certainly underscore her commitment to diversity and inclusion in our industry.
