For the second consecutive year, the Walter Kaitz Foundation has partnered with Film Life to help build and promote diversity in television and film by hosting its Annual Hollywood Creative Forum EAST, an inventive new program to kick off its annual American Black Film Festival.
The 2nd Annual Hollywood Creative Forum EAST is uniquely targeted towards diverse writers and producers of scripted content. The program is focused on providing critical information and access for diverse writers and writer/producers to succeed in television and film. The program further seeks to create relationships amongst establish showrunners with writing talent from the realm of film, television and Broadway.
The event launches with a panel comprised of executives who oversee some of the industry’s leading new writer programs, followed by a structured luncheon that continues the dialogue on helping participants craft successful writing and producing careers in television.
