NATPE Diversity Fellowship Program at LATV Festival

Diversity has an appointment in Hollywood. And we’re there to make it happen.

Now in its second year, the NATPE Diversity Fellowship Program helps people of color make contacts and get work in television and video content creation. Working with NATPE and with cable industry programming companies, we help to identify and support Walter Kaitz Foundation Fellows who take part in mentoring meetings, workshops and networking opportunities that supply real insight – and real contacts – in the entertainment industry.

Program Fellows also are guests of NATPE at the annual LATV Festival, a four-day, mid-summer series of seminars and events that helps aspiring producers navigate their way through Hollywood and the television production business.

Who’s involved?

2008 Diversity Fellows

• Program sponsors that represent a “Who’s Who” of the cable television programming community. For a small investment, they can make a big contribution toward increasing the presence of individuals of color within the highly influential TV production business. And they know 100 percent of their contributions go directly toward the Diversity Fellowship Program.

• Fellowship candidates who are selected by the Walter Kaitz Foundation in partnership with:

Center for Asian American Media

NAACP, Hollywood Bureau

National Association of Latino Independent Producers

National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications

National Association of Minority Media Executives
