Walter-Kaitz Foundation NATIVE AMERICAN ORGANIZATIONS

 

  • American Indian Business Leaders (AIBL) – Supports and promotes the education and development of future business leaders from among American Indians.
  • American Indian Council of Architects and Engineers (AICAE) - Represents American Indian owned firms on a national level. Encourages students in the field.
  • American Indian Cultural Support  Lutz, FL - organization dedicated to preserving various American Indian Nations sovereignty, legal rights, lands, and cultures. 
  • Americans for Indian Opportunity (AIO) - facilitates culturally appropriate initiatives and opportunities that enrich the cultural, political and economic lives of Indigenous peoples through collaborations with tribal governments, organizations and community groups to address a variety of areas including energy policy, economic development, housing, the environment, education, tribal governance, arts and culture.
  • Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP) - Organization of American Indian Physicians that encourages Native youth in the health profession.
  • National Alaska Native American Indian Nurses Association (NANAINA) – A professional organization dedicated to the promotion of better health among Alaska Native and American Indian people as well as serving the professional demographic of nurses of these ethnicities.
  • Native American Business Alliance  (NABA) – An association started to facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between private and public businesses with Native American owned companies through regional networking sessions and training workshops.
  • Native American Capital (NAC), - A full-service merchant/investment bank and private equity / venture capital fund manager serving all of Indian Country.  NAC is committed to providing innovative financial solutions and capital to the rapidly growing Native American business community both on and off tribal reservations.
  • National Native American Law Students Association (NNALSA) - Founded in 1970 to promote the study of Federal Indian Law, Tribal Law and traditional forms of governance, and to support Native Americans in law school.
  • Native Networks - NMAI - Website used to increase interconnnectivity and information flow among Native media organizations, media producers, and their audiences.
