The Walter Kaitz Foundation launches its inaugural program, the Hollywood Creative Forum which seeks to connect diverse content creators directly with programming executives in the cable industry. This unique forum attempts to advance the skills of creatives and their knowledge base of the industry through mentoring meetings, sessions and networking opportunities that supply real insight and real contacts in the cable and entertainment industry.
As part of the program, participants receive complimentary access to NCTA’s 2010 Cable Show in Los Angeles, California. They get to participate in sessions and events that help aspiring producers, directors and writers navigate their way through Hollywood and the television production business.

The Walter Kaitz Foundation is proud to present its inaugural Hollywood Creative Forum -- Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center during the 2010 Cable Show, the annual conference and international exposition for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association.
The Forum, a complimentary, invitation-only event is targeted to diverse, emerging and entry level writers, directors and producers, all in an effort to promote diversity behind the camera, as well as, in front of it with respect to projects by diverse creatives. Participants are invited and selected from exclusive programs, including the NATPE Fellowship Program, the NAMIC Writers’ Workshop, in addition to current participants in elite network diversity programs.
The Forum will consist of four professional skills-enhancement panel sessions, an interactive luncheon featuring a keynote speaker, Emmy-winning writer-producer, Ali Leroi, and a closing reception that provides opportunities for networking, with a closing keynote by President of Fox Television Studios, Emiliano Calemzuk.
Hollywood Creative Forum was created by The Walter Kaitz Foundation as an additional component to meet its continued mission to advocate and promote diversity in the cable telecommunications industry.
